ECHO INDIA ran a great race in the Novice Riders at The Bradswoth and Bramham Moor meeting at Whitfield Grange yesterday before unseating the jockey at the final fence when in second place and challenging for the lead. On what was officially good to firm ground, they went a ferocious gallop from the start with Echo India leading the way and jumping well from the front. It looked to be between himself and the eventual winner Tranos going to last having just been headed at the second from home. Despite looking like he may have been running on again as he approached the last he would have needed a good jump to stand a chance of winning, instead he got in a little tight and unseated his rider a few strides after the fence. It was a frustrating way to finish having run so well and it was not the result that he deserved. On the positive side though he ran a great race and should be ready and raring to go again at Tabley in three weeks time where hopefully we can get his head in front again as he did last year.
